about me

''Every observer views a piece of art through their own unique lens. Within the exact same painting and from the very same source, a tailor will spot the track of a zipper, a doctor will see a spine, and a musician will recognize the keys of a piano. A psychologist will detect a deep subconscious undertone, while someone else might be reminded of train tracks... That is the beauty of the freedom in art—everyone connects with a piece in their own unique way. It is very similar to the way we look upon the life itself. ''

Demi Lisjak is a contemporary abstract artist based in Croatia, creating original paintings and digital art that bring inspiration and elegance to modern interiors, homes, and offices. She has attended art classes under the supervision of her mentor and art teacher Milanka Korovljev. Since then, she has participated in local and international group exhibitions, including those organized by the National Arts Association, and she has also held solo exhibitions as an active member of several art associations. So far, her work has gained several awards and honorable mentions in online art competitions. Her works are part of private collections and companies, with a growing number of pieces sold.

The idea is to create a unique piece of art that perfectly fits to any given space and brings unique meaning to it.

Her style shows a play and balance between shapes, compositions and colors. The viewer is invited toward introspective and self-reflective part when the viewer is in front of the painting. Every work has an emotional and strong symbolical and scientifical depth that create a spiritual experience for the viewer. Over time, interest in her artwork has grown, leading her to open an Etsy shop to make her works more accessible to a wider audience and provide an easy way to view and purchase her art.

Demi creates where the boundaries of art, science and technology dissolve.

As a designer in Mirai Design, she creates digital content and crafts UX/UI solutions that bridge the gap between aesthetics and functionality with cutting-edge artificial intelligence (AI) tools.

As a pharmacist with a scientific foundation, her creative work thrives at the exciting intersection of digital design and modern technology. Her big artistic inspiration stems from the micro-world around us. She is fascinated by natural laws and scientific concepts—ranging from basic geometry and symmetry to complex chemical structures and cell biology. Through her work, she translates these invisible, exact processes into tangible visual and digital experiences that resonate uniquely with everyone. For her, science is not just a profession, it acts as a muse, and it is the language through which she creates the meaning and symbolism.

''Art truly brings people together and gives us a moment of freedom. <3''
